The icon reminds me of a day when I was at work in one of the Island stores and Emily Reeves walked in wearing the bunny slippers pictured in this icon. Back then she was having a kinda bad day...I'm guessing that's where you're at today. Hope it gets better soon.
No, The cheesy 70's film was "The Poseidon Adventure" and the theme song was sung by Maureen McGovern. This 'disaster film' was in the company of : Beyond the Poseidon Adventure- at least enought passengers survived to film a sequel.
Earthquake Towering inferno The Andromeda Strain.....etc.

"There's got to be a morning after..."
Isn't that from the cheesy 70's Titanic movie? Didn't they all die?

Wonder what we'd have for disaster films now?
Ummm..."10", "The Day After Tomorrow" and "Dante's Peak"?
I meant "10.5" - that hideous made for TV movie - although some people might think an 80's Bo Derek movie is a disaster...
I thought you were both funny and astute in naming '10'.
"Airplane"? OK, whimpy, but I still watch it.
Whoa - bunny slippers to trench coat - Warbler, we're on to you now
Momma also said I should marry a rich doctor. She was right.
