I do, of course, that is if I can find them. But if I leave them alone will they come home?

Forget PETA.
Bo Peep we're on to you.
There's no place you can hide.
We will not rest until we have found you and brought you to justice.
Tonight, you will sleep with the fish.

Fish-es
Please realize that we try our best to master the idiosyncracies of the English language. I'm mean we're bilingual...do you know many humans who've bothered to learn sheep?

Warbler,
Thanks for solving the mystery about what's happening with bo peep's sheep. I've been wondering why she keeps 'losing them'

What?
Just because I make an innocent mistake suddenly EVERYBODY is after me? Spend a day in my shoes, yes, my small squeaky shoes- every day herding sheep up the hillside and then down the hillside..day after day.. after day.
So, how I am supposed to know that some ivy is not good for lambs?? UH? Like I have a degree in botany?

Is anyone watchimg out for "akiddle"? You know they will always eat ivy too! Wouldn't you? Is this whole line a little bit,"jumble and jivy" ?

Geez, watchful herder, now that you mention it the words sound queer and funny to my ear, but hey I'm just a sheep.

Warbler,
First, I commend you on taking up the plight or in this case, the very silence of the lambs who have not been able to voice their outrage at having to eat poisonous varieties of Ivy.
Second, the lambs are not our only concern here. What about the mares and does? Do they really want to eat oats? Don't they really want to be free? To run free on the range grazing on the wild foods that sustained their ancestors and keep them healthier than store bought feed? Who speaks for them?
Oats are a symbol of subordination of animals to the human species. We must remember that these animals are not ours to use, they too, have the right to determine their own existence.
Thank you for introducing this topic in your forum,
gratefully
Peta Pan

ARRRGH!
Peta Pan! There's nothing tastier than a well-grilled nice and juicy lamb chop, with a dollop of mint jelly on the side!
What do you think of that?

Stereotypes. I can't stand it.
Most of us in the marine world prefer to be called fish, or on more intimate ocassions 'the fishies'. The "sleep wid da fishes" line really refers to the sharks out here. It was something cooked up by their land-based cousins aka the loan sharks. Please don't paint us all with the same brush.
