Money Changes Everything
I was reading this thingy on MSN's finance pages (yes, I do read all that weenie stuff) and there's this article about how survey after survey says that the number one motivator for working is not love of what you do or fab bennies, it's money.
That being said I'd just like to point out that there are certain jobs we all know don't make much and should make more.
That being said...
I, as a childcare worker who raises other people's children (sometimes up to 12 hours a day in conjunction with the center), make $3500 less than a parking lot attendant and $4100 less than a gas station guy.
Puts it all in perspective, doesn't it?

Well I hope you find a way to get an advanced degree and make some bucks. When Lori and I were young, I was hanging sheetrock and she was in child-care, pretty much the same boat. So she went first and got a master's in Ed Psych while I did duty and dooty at the house. Later I pulled the same trick and I have the rustiest plaster tools you ever saw in the garage. I only wish good things,

Well, you know, after the age of 65 education's practically free...

I think I speak for most of us when I say...
DUH!!
Yeah, but someone actually got paid more than a parking lot attendant to write it!
