To paraphrase and quote my daughter's frustration in the last few weeks of 'Idol" watching - " The American public should not be allowed to vote - that' how we got George Bush!" Another time, I think her father was channeling through her when she stated "this is American Idol not East Indian Idol!" (I must admit, though, that I was also dancing a jig in the living room last night.
